What Have We Been Up To?

It's been a busy few months for us. Stanley Lau (Hawaii Tech Support Founder) gave an informative security presentation to business and operation executives at the Hawaii Employers Council. The content included protecting systems and networks and educating staff and employees about security practices. One of the top highlights was the HIPAA Security Risk Analysis. All health care providers and their vendors (that work with patient information) are required to have a HIPAA assessment on an annual basis. Many smaller practices don't realize this applies to them. HIPAA stresses the importance of keeping patient information protected and secured safely. Our team at Hawaii Tech Support offers these services and would be happy to help by scheduling a consultation to make sure your clinic is HIPAA compliant.

In November, we were also honored to be one of the top finalists in the small business category at the first annual Pacific Business News "Hawaii's Best Workplaces." It was a fun awards luncheon that most of our team were able to attend.

In warm appreciation we extend the best of wishes for this holiday season filled with peace, happiness and success. May you have the joy of family, the gift of friends, and the best of everything for 2016.
